REWORLD MEDIA ANNOUNCES THE LAUNCH OF “ICON” IN THE UNITED STATES: THE MAGAZINE’S INTERNATIONAL EDITIONS RISE TO 6
The first issue of the magazine will debut in April 2025 and the editorship will be entrusted to Gro Curtis
New York, December 2024 – Reworld Media announces the launch of ICON in the United States, which will bring the number of international editions of the magazine to 6, reinforcing the ambition of the Media-Tech Group, leader in France, to further expand and invest in the US market.
After establishing itself in Italy, Spain, Australia, the Middle East and France, the first issue of the magazine will debut in America at the end of April 2025 under the editorial leadership of Andrea Tenerani who will bring his vision and experience to the new edition. Tenerani, who already oversees the magazine’s other publications around the world, will ensure that ICON USA is aligned with the global identity of the brand, adapting it to the specific needs of the American market.
The magazine will be directed by Gro Curtis, who has worked in the high-end publishing industry and previously held senior roles at V and VMAN: “I’m extremely pleased to be joining the global ICON family as the editor in chief of the new USA edition. As a brand, ICON has built a strong image and editorial signature globally so it’s exciting to be able to shape our voice in United States. Challenging the fundamental codes of menswear has always been my passion and I’m looking forward to further promoting and nourishing US-based men’s designer, talents, creatives and models. Our goal is to establish ICON as an arbiter of good taste and impeccable men’s style rather than creating trivial almanac of trends”.
The project will bring together a team of highly talented professionals. Among them is Alex Wiederin, the renowned founder of Buero New York. Wiederin, a visionary force in the creative world, co-founded AnOther Magazine and has held prestigious roles as creative director for Esquire and Vogue Hommes International. Throughout his career he has collaborated with some of the most prestigious brands in the fashion and luxury sectors. In his role as Creative Director for ICON USA, Wiederin’s unparalleled creative vision will be instrumental in defining and shaping the magazine’s distinctive style. Tanya Amini, who already collaborates with prestige media organizations, will be the Publisher at Large for ICON USA. Her expertise in the luxury and fashion publishing sector, as well as her ability to connect brands with a premium audience, will play a key role in building decisive partnerships and will be essential in strengthening the brand’s presence in the United States.

ICON USA will be published biannually and, at the same time as the release of the first issue, it will also debut on social media, in particular on Instagram, with multimedia content, photo galleries, backstage videos, fashion shoots, and much more.
