ICON: THE NEW INTERNATIONAL EDITION OFFICIALLY LAUNCHES IN SERBIA
The magazine’s release was celebrated with an exclusive event in Belgrade, held at the residence of the Italian Ambassador to Serbia.
Milan, May 19, 2025 – ICON makes its debut in Serbia with the launch of its first issue. The Serbian edition, the result of a licensing agreement between Reworld Media Italia and NPBM Publishing – co-founded by Nataša Vukobratović and Petar Spasojević – marks another significant step in the brand’s international expansion.
“We are excited about ICON’s international development, which in a very short time has grown from four to seven editions, reaching strategic and high-potential markets such as France, the United States, and now Serbia, where it will be the only lifestyle magazine targeting a male audience,” says Daniela Sola, CEO of Reworld Media Italia. “This rapid growth confirms the strength of a distinctive editorial formula that combines identity, quality, and a contemporary vision. ICON continues to establish itself as a strong and recognizable brand, capable of expanding globally across key international markets while promoting the values and excellence of Made in Italy.”
Nataša Vukobratović is the Editor-in-Chief of the magazine, with Petar Spasojević serving as Creative Director and Fashion Director.
“We are proud to launch ICON in Serbia, a project built with professionalism and passion, born from the collaboration between our creative forces and those of renowned professionals and emerging talents from both the local and international fashion scenes,” say the two directors.
The debut issue features three cover stars – each a Serbian icon: Zdravko Čolić, a legend of Balkan music whose cross-generational voice is beloved by many; Dušan Vlahović, football star and Juventus striker; Miloš Biković, an internationally acclaimed actor and a familiar face in European cinema.
The theme of the issue, Heritage, runs throughout the pages of the magazine, telling the personal and professional stories of its protagonists and reflecting on the importance of cultural roots and the deep ties between Italy and Serbia – two nations with rich and closely intertwined histories.
With over 265 pages, the magazine explores fashion and style alongside features on design, architecture, art, travel, automobiles, watches, and beauty. It is an editorial project that captures the present while looking to the future.
To celebrate the release of the first issue, an exclusive dinner was held in Belgrade at the residence of the Italian Ambassador to Serbia, His Excellency Luca Gori. The event brought together around 100 guests, including some of the most influential figures in the Serbian and regional fashion and creative scenes.
In 2025, the magazine will be published biannually (May and October). There will also be a strong presence on social media, particularly Instagram, with photo galleries, behind-the-scenes videos, fashion shoots, and more, to further engage readers and users.
