Reworld Media Italia launches ‘Grazia food’ magazine Directed by Silvia Grilli

The chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo will be guest editor of the first issue of the magazine, which hits newsstands tomorrow

Milan, June 21, 2023 – The magazine Grazia Food – Stili di vita belli e buoni (“Beautiful and delicious lifestyles”), a new quarterly publication by Reworld Media Italia, makes its debut imbuing summer with new flavour and providing readers with more reasons to enjoy gathering around the table.

“In this first issue, we introduce a bright, sophisticated new magazine that explores life’s pleasures with the guidance of great chefs,” said editor-in-chief Silvia Grilli. “I wanted our first guest editor to be the chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo, a true master at creating culinary experiences. Joy is the defining trait of this new magazine and it radiates from every page. Cooking is a form of self-love and love for others, and Grazia Food captures this sentiment.”

Cannavacciuolo, an ambassador for Italian cuisine and among the best-loved figures on Italian television, is indeed the guest editor of the magazine’s first issue. He accompanies readers on discussions about ingredients, smells and the secrets behind the culinary traditions he represents so perfectly, which helped him win a third Michelin star for his restaurant, Villa Crespi sul Lago d’Orta.

“I am very pleased to provide my personal contribution to the launch of this important new editorial initiative, which pays tribute to food and to life. I thank the editor-in-chief of Grazia, Silvia Grilli, for thinking of me and inviting me to introduce the new and hopefully long-lasting Grazia Food adventure,” said Cannavacciuolo. “Eating well is one of the most fundamental aspects of living well. I hope you will flip through these pages with the desire to discover new ideas and with a curiosity that travels from your eyes to your heart.”

THE CONTENTS OF GRAZIA FOOD MAGAZINE

Olive oil, tomatoes, lemons: these unmistakably Mediterranean ingredients are Cannavacciuolo’s suggested starting point. Grazia Food has transformed them into a journey spanning 80 recipes – a real adventure for the taste buds, serving up all manner of spaghetti, risotto and spectacular first courses.

Many pages of the magazine are focused on dishes to share during the summer, when people spend more time outdoors for aperitifs and picnics, whether in gardens, on terraces or on the beach. Readers will be treated to tasty breads and focaccia, unusual pairings and seasonal ingredients that pack energy and color, as well as irresistible desserts and ice-creams.

The joy of good food, as Cannavacciuolo details in an exclusive interview, also lies in exploration. Grazia Food invites readers to discover the ways flavours from around the world have altered Italian cooking and to see Italy and lesser-known, but increasingly trendy Italian specialties, such as freshwater fish, anew.

The magazine also discusses healthy eating habits and includes features on stylish table décor with Martino Crespi (a sought-after figure among Hollywood glitterati) and folk wisdom about eating with writer Dario Bressanini.

As Cannavacciuolo emphasises, good cooking today is increasingly about sustainability and care for the environment. Grazia Food includes interviews with people who are out on the frontlines fighting food waste, as well as members of the younger generation who are consciously returning to live in the countryside to produce tomorrow’s food.

The final section of the magazine is edited by Benedetta Parodi, a writer and television host, who discussed the meaning of cooking for the families while her children are busy for school exams.

Grazia Food will appear on a section of the website grazia.it and across all Grazia social media channels.

The launch of this new magazine further strengthens the editorial standing of Reworld Media Italia, which spans a cross-section of fashion, beauty, men’s and women’s lifestyle, and now food, coverage.
